The source code of OmniSelect FileSQL itself — including app.js (with query-executor, file-manager, ui-manager, state-manager, notifications, duckdb-init, duckdb-tables, avro-values, archives, file-types and stats-reader inside it), omni_parsers, omni-engine.wasm (the SQL checker and plain-English engine, compiled from C++), omni-engine.js and the site's HTML and CSS — is proprietary and is not offered under an open-source licence. No permission is granted to copy, modify, redistribute or create derivative works from it; using it is governed by the Terms of Use.

The licences below apply only to the third-party components listed, not to this application.

Bundled Components

DuckDB-WASM and Apache Arrow JS are the npm releases named above; the DuckDB extensions are the official v1.5.4 builds for WebAssembly, served from this site. Modification notice (Apache-2.0 §4(b)): in the copy of Apache Arrow JS shipped here, the function in builder/valid.mjs that generated code at run time has been replaced by an equivalent that does not, so the site can run without allowing eval. Nothing else in Arrow is changed.

sql.js, mdb-reader, pako, bson, @msgpack/msgpack, cborg and buffer are bundled, unmodified, into formats-vendor.js (built by tools/build-formats.js). mdb-reader's code for opening password-protected Access files is left out of that bundle — such files are refused with a message — so its decryption dependencies (browserify-aes, create-hash, fast-xml-parser) are not shipped. sql-wasm.wasm is sql.js's own build of SQLite, which is in the public domain, made with Emscripten (MIT). omni-stats.wasm is ReadStat's reading code with zlib's decompression code, unmodified, plus a short ClientVirt wrapper that reads from memory, compiled with wasi-sdk 34 (wasi-libc, MIT); ReadStat includes SipHash, which its authors dedicated to the public domain under CC0.

Monaco Editor includes Microsoft’s Codicons icon font (monaco/vs/base/browser/ui/codicons/codicon/codicon.ttf), © Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft publishes the Codicons icons under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence; they are used here unmodified.

WebAssembly Dependencies

The SQL checker and plain-English engine (omni-engine.wasm) is compiled from C++ with no third-party libraries. The only outside code it contains is the C++ runtime from wasi-sdk 34: LLVM's libc++ and libc++abi (Apache-2.0 WITH LLVM-exception) and wasi-libc (MIT, including portions of musl, MIT).

DuckDB (duckdb-eh.wasm.gz and the extensions under duckdb-ext/) statically links the following third-party components from its third_party directory at release v1.5.4 (test-only code is not compiled in). Their notices are reproduced below because the compiled code ships in those files.

The Avro reader (omni_parsers_bg.wasm) is compiled from Rust and statically links the following crates — every runtime dependency recorded in its Cargo.lock, with the licence each declares on crates.io. Their notices are reproduced here because the compiled code ships inside that binary.
