Welcome to this website. The website and the OmniSelect FileSQL software provided through it are owned by ClientVirt (“the owner”). By accessing or using this site or any software tools provided through it, you agree to the following Terms of Use.
1. No Warranties
All content, tools, and services on this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The owner does not guarantee accuracy, reliability, performance, or suitability for any purpose.
2. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for verifying the correctness of any output before using it for business, technical, operational, or personal decisions.
3. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall the owner be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the website or any related software.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or use the tools in ways that could cause harm to systems, data, or users.
5. Ownership
This website and the OmniSelect FileSQL software are the property of the owner and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. That includes the source code and the compiled code delivered to your browser (JavaScript and WebAssembly), the plain-English-to-SQL engine with its vocabularies and rules, and the site’s text, design and graphics. The software is licensed to you, not sold. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
6. Your Licence to Use the Tool
The owner grants you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the tool as it is served from this website, for your own purposes or for your organisation’s internal work. Your browser keeping copies of the site’s files in its cache, as browsers do, is part of that use.
7. Your Data
Your files, your queries, and the results and SQL the tool produces for you are yours. These Terms give the owner no rights in them, and they never reach the owner: the tool processes them inside your browser.
8. Restrictions
Except as these Terms expressly allow, or as a written licence from the owner permits, you may not:
- copy, mirror, host, frame or redistribute this website or its software, or make it available from any other website, application, network or device;
- load, call or embed the software, or any part of it such as the plain-English engine, from another website, application or service, or use it other than through this website’s own pages;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or deobfuscate the software, or otherwise attempt to derive its source code, algorithms, vocabularies or rules, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits this despite this restriction;
- extract the software’s behaviour systematically — for example by feeding it large numbers of generated questions — in order to reproduce it;
- use the software, or anything derived from it, to build, train or improve a competing product or service;
- sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise commercialise the software or access to it; or
- remove, alter or obscure any copyright, licence or other proprietary notice, including those inside the software’s files.
9. Third-Party Components
The tool includes open-source components, listed with their licences on the Licenses page. Each is governed by its own licence, and nothing in these Terms limits the rights that licence gives you in that component.
10. Other Uses
Internal or offline deployments, redistribution, rebranding and any other use not covered by section 6 need a separate written licence from the owner. See Licensing & Contact.
11. Termination
Your licence ends automatically if you break these Terms, and you must then stop using the software and delete any copies of it you have made. The owner may suspend or discontinue the site at any time. Sections 1 to 3, 5, 8 and 9 continue to apply after your licence ends.
12. Modifications
The owner may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
